The satellite office was founded at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland in 2008 as a base of Yamagata University in order to promote international exchanges between Yamagata University and Universities, Institutes in European countries. The international city, Geneva, which is geographically center of Europe, has many international organizations. The site is appropriate for students to obtain international sensibility.
